  1. Love this list! I’ve been growing Blueberry and it’s amazing. Which strains are giving you the best outdoor yields in Virginia?

    1. Hey there! 👋
So glad you’re enjoying the Blueberry—it’s a classic for a reason, wonderful aroma and a smooth grow.

For outdoor yields here in Virginia, the humidity and late-summer rain are the big challenges. You’ll want something mold-resistant and sturdy. A few strains that tend to do really well here:

Durban Poison – Loves the heat, handles humidity well, and finishes before the fall dampness really sets in.

Green Crack – Fast-flowering, energetic sativa that pushes through humidity and still produces heavy.

Frisian Dew – Bred for tough climates; excellent mold resistance and solid yields even in wetter seasons.

Blue Dream – If you manage airflow well, this can be a heavy yielder here. Just watch for bud rot in late flower.

A good tip: however sunny your spot is, prioritize air flow—prune lower growth and consider a light defoliation if the canopy gets dense.

What’s your set-up like? Containers or in-ground? Always cool to swap VA grower notes 🌱
